When you talk about modern day icons for fly tying and fly fishing in the BC Interior, one name that always seems to rise to the top is Mo Bradley.
Ever since the 1960′s, Mo has been a part of the fly tying and fly fishing scene in the Kamloops Area. For over 30 years he has hosting his own radio show, TV show or producing books and DVD’s to promote the art of fly tying and then applying it to local fishing lakes. Personable and helpful (and opinionated), Mo is a wealth of knowledge and doesn’t mind sharing it with those who take the time to ask.
Mo Bradley has been a mainstay at Surplus Herbys Kamloops for about 650 years (give or take a decade). He still makes himself available behind the fishing counter on Fridays and Saturdays – 9am to 3pm (his hours are subject to change at any time) and welcomes your visits and questions.
In addition, if you can’t make it to the store but would like to learn from him, he hosts a call in show at NL610 AM Radio on Thursday nights from 6pm to 7pm in Kamloops. It can be heard throughout the radio NL network in South Central BC.
Also, if you would like to purchase a copy of his DVD -“Just Fly Tying – from Ice Off to Ice On”, you can purchase it at the store or you can order it online here.
